Some Dragon Time With Lexy of Ankh

Coming Soon... The third book in Lexy's epic Children of Ankh Side Series...Deplorable Me.

He opened his arms and sang, “Welcome back.” Lexy climbed out of the tomb and stepped into his embrace. Grey lifted her off the ground, spun her in a circle and put her down. He gazed into her eyes, while tenderly caressing her cheek as he confessed, “I’m sorry I wasn’t there to bring you out. They used my energy to heal the others. Lily and I were the only energy sources. Do you remember much?”
“Not much,” Lexy admitted as she wiped the sweat from her brow. The tombs were in the back of a big rig. It was ridiculously hot.
Her Handler smiled as he said, “Good…That’s a good thing, trust me.”
She was always so focused on Grey’s erased memories. She rarely stopped to think about her own missing pieces of time. Orin was acting a little standoffish. He hadn’t even glanced her way.
Grey whispered, “Give him space. You were infected with a virus and you tried to eat him.”
Shit. Lexy whispered, “You’re joking, right?”
“Sadly…No. You tore a chunk of his skin out of his forearm with your teeth while foaming at the mouth like a rabid animal,” Grey quietly retorted.
She’d been fooling herself into believing that she was capable of more. Normal girls don’t try to eat their dates. She wanted to apologize but knew there was no point. She would inevitably do it again.
